Your invitation and account
PlotDig is an invitation-only alpha service for property and public-record research. Use it only if you are authorized to accept these terms for yourself and, when applicable, your organization.
Your invitation is personal. Keep your sign-in links and credentials private; do not share an account, transfer access, or use another person's account. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell the PlotDig administrator who invited you if you suspect unauthorized access.
Research and reasonable exports
You may use the interface and its offered exports for reasonable, human-directed internal research and individual client matters. Preserve supporting source links, dates, attribution, and limitations when using exported findings.
An invitation is not a license to harvest the service, build a substitute database, resell access, or redistribute substantial parts of PlotDig's collections. Bulk delivery, recurring feeds, integration access, resale, and other uses beyond ordinary research require a separate written data access agreement with PlotDig. That agreement must also respect any applicable third-party rights.
No scraping or automated collection without an agreement
Without PlotDig's prior written authorization in a data access agreement, do not use bots, scripts, crawlers, headless browsers, automated API clients, or other tools to systematically query, extract, copy, or download data from PlotDig. Do not automate searches, enumerate properties, or assemble bulk datasets through repeated requests or multiple accounts.
Do not bypass authentication, technical restrictions, rate limits, or access controls; share or replay credentials to expand access; probe for vulnerabilities; or conduct load tests without written permission. Normal browser caching and assistive technology used for ordinary, human-directed access are allowed.
These restrictions govern access to PlotDig. They do not prevent you from independently obtaining public records from official sources under those sources' own rules.
Fair usage and service protection
Alpha capacity is limited. Avoid excessive parallel requests, repeated mass downloads, abusive traffic, and activity that materially degrades the service for others. Follow any usage limits shown in the service or communicated to you.
PlotDig may limit requests, pause a feature, or suspend or revoke access to protect availability, security, source obligations, or other users, including when these terms are breached. Where practical, we will explain the issue. Ask your inviting administrator about higher-volume use or a data agreement before starting it.
Public records have important limits
Records are collected from multiple sources and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or out of date. Coverage varies by source, place, time, and property. No result, an unchecked source, or a missing record is not a clearance or assurance that no issue exists.
PlotDig is a research aid, not a legal opinion, title search, survey, lien or payoff report, engineering assessment, or government determination. Spatial intersections and illustrative building heights are screening or visualization aids, not surveyed boundaries or measured conditions. Verify material facts with the relevant official source and qualified professionals before relying on them.
Source rights and responsible use
PlotDig retains rights in its software, branding, and original materials, and in its arrangements or compilations to the extent those rights exist. We do not claim exclusive ownership of underlying public records merely because we display them.
Official sources and third parties may have separate copyright, attribution, privacy, access, or reuse conditions. Your access to PlotDig does not remove those conditions or grant rights we do not hold. Do not use the service unlawfully, to harass or discriminate, or to expose private information improperly.
Account and operational records
To operate the alpha, PlotDig processes account details, sign-in and security events, usage and service-performance information, and records of terms acceptance. Administrators can manage invitations, access, and permissions. Do not submit privileged client materials, secrets, or sensitive documents into features that have not been explicitly approved for that purpose.
Ask your inviting administrator about account-data handling, retention, or deletion. These terms do not replace a separate privacy notice or any applicable privacy rights.
An evolving alpha service
The alpha is provided as available and may change, contain errors, or be interrupted. Features and data may be added, removed, or corrected. No uninterrupted access, particular coverage, or fitness for a particular purpose is promised.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the alpha is provided without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any paid service, service-level commitment, or data license requires a separate agreement.
Updates and questions
The version shown on this page identifies these terms. We may ask you to review and accept a new version before continuing to use the service. We retain the accepted version, document integrity hash, and acceptance time with your account.
For questions, authorized integrations, higher-volume access, or a written data access agreement, contact the PlotDig administrator who invited you.
